Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of all council members of the Hong Kong Society for Immunology (HKSI), I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your tremendous support and active participation in the Hong Kong Immunology Forum 2021. The theme of our Forum this year is to promote human health by making innovative discoveries in Immunology Research. This forum will provide an opportunity for us to share the frontier knowledge with experts in the field.

Despite the difficult situation of the COVID-19 pandemic around the globe, more than a hundred participants have registered to attend the on-site and online meeting that will foster international academic exchange through the presentation of latest research findings and discussions with our speakers. It is, therefore, our great honor to have Prof. Tak Wah MAK as our keynote speaker, and Prof. Bin ZHOU from Shanghai, Prof. Shohei HORI from Toyko, as well as our local speakers Prof. Alfred CHENG and Dr. Kwan Ting CHOW for giving us their brilliant lectures.

Throughout the past few months, we were very pleased to review abstracts submitted by our young investigators, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. This year, three young investigators have been selected to receive the young investigator awards, and another three students will be selected for the best poster awards during the meeting. We would like to thank our council members for reviewing all these abstracts and selecting the excellent awardees.

Lastly, we would also cordially thank our sponsors particularly The Croucher Foundation for their generous support to make this event possible. Thank you once again for your contribution, we wish you a fruitful and pleasant time in the meeting.
